This is your day. We'll want it to happen your way. We will take control when we need to get the pose right, for example, the more formal photographs and any additional creative or posed sessions. Of course we will be following your every move throughout the day, so it would be great if you feel comfortable enough to give us an occasional smile or ham it up if you like. We'll keep it light so you and your guests can concentrate on enjoying yourselves.

Wedding Day Coverage

Pre-Ceremony

We love to do the shots of the Bride & Groom getting ready for their day! First meeting shots can be a part of the pre-ceremony shots, along with spontaneous or posed shots with parents and wedding party all around your venue.

Formals

Formals include posed portaits of the bride and groom, wedding party, parents and family. We like to shoot these with a classic, but contemporary style. Often a couple will choose to do creative wedding party shots at another location. Time between ceremony and reception is ideal for these. Off location shots must be planned for and can be included if time allows.

Ceremony

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate with you and witness as you say your vows. We'll do our best to capture the details and the mood of the service. Your guests and family will be full of congratulations and hugs as you are introduced as husband and wife. You may want an additional photographer to capture all the details depending on the magnitude of the ceremony venue and number of guests.

Reception coverage starts before the wedding party arrives. The scene is set for the Grand Entrance and can continue through the traditional toasts cake cutting, wedding party dances, and throwing of the bouquet.  This is often the last stop of the evening for us. How we complete this day depends on the coverage you choose.

Engagement Session

Simple studio shots or on location…these are the portraits that show the love you share as a couple in the more relaxed every day world you live. You'll really love these on your wall.

Formal Bridal Session

A Formal Bridal Portrait session is an option that can give you fashion photo style studio portraits in Wedding Attire.

Rehearsal

We always attend the rehearsal when we can. Here we can plan our shots for the ceremony. Some cherished moments can be captured at these times. Many times the Bride & Groom will sign the marriage documents at the rehearsal. Rehearsal dinners can be a lot of fun too! They are filled with antics you'll want to record.

Day After

When all the fuss is over…a relaxed session over coffee and kisses is easy. The Honeymoon has begun! You may have a great suite with a balcony view or planning to spend the time in your home or in a sweet place you've found together. The dress and tux are still there too. Need photos jumping on the bed? What fun it would be to do a genuine and romantic session when you truly have time to enjoy it!

Trash the Dress

These session have recently become very popular. You really don't have to destroy the dress though. Now is the time to do the really fun and messy shots like jumping in the lake or lying in the fall leaves, before you have your dress cleaned and stored.

Travel

We can travel anywhere in the US for your wedding with appropriate arrangements.

Pricing & Booking

Custom Wedding Packages Start at $800

Pricing for your session will include any options you choose.  Pricing is based on an hourly rate on the scheduled shooting day.  This rate includes creation, creativity and technical expertise, and all professional equipment.  We'll prepare and present the final product.  Prints and optional album features are in addition to creation fees unless otherwise specified.

Book Your Date

There are limited Saturdays in a month, and we'll only schedule one wedding on that day.  When you've decided on using 147th Street Studio to photograph your wedding, you'll need a deposit to hold your date in our schedule book.  Remember that some wedding dates are in high demand so…book early!

Keep in touch with the Details

Remember to keep us in the loupe!  We'll meet and talk as much as needed, to make sure any plan changes or details are not missed. Some surprises can be nice, but if want pictures you'll need to let us in on the secret.

View Your Keepsake Images

A short time after your wedding we'll have your images ready to view. We'll discuss editing and images choices. You can make these choices online or in our studio while viewing your images on our large screen color synchronized monitor. With this option you can see all the details in true color and feel confident about the quality of your order.

Tangible Memories to Cherish

We believe and are committed to giving you memories that you can see and touch. The safety and enjoyment of your keepsakes depend on more than just digital files on a disc. Sure you want those too. You'll be able to easily access your digital library anywhere to share on your phone or social media. Digital copies are provided at no cost for all images that you choose to purchase in books or print.

CANVAS AND PRINTS

Display the emotions, the laughter, the joy of your wedding day with your own expressive style. Specialty software allows us to assist you in designing the wall groupings that work best in your home. Accurately measured templates let you visualize what your images would look like in a variety of styles and display configurations. Our Professional Prints Labs offer Canvas, Framed Prints and Other Mountings among their available printing selections.

WEDDING ALBUMS AND BOOKS

A wedding album is a "must have" to keep your wedding images tastefully displayed and securely at hand.  To showcase the events of your wedding in storybook style request an album designs of up to 50 pages. It's available to you as an optional purchase. You may want mini albums or coffee table books to share with parents or colleagues at work. A wedding book may be more suitable than a traditional album or you may prefer to have a traditional portrait album, plus a more comprehensive storybook album that includes all the lighter moments. Whichever you choose, it will bring the memories of your wedding day flooding back time and time again.
